There are many opportunities to work in the NHS.

Step into work training programme will recruit and enrol refugees to work in the NHS or partner organisations. It will help refugees who are eligible to work in the UK to utilise their existing skills and take up jobs in the NHS.

The programme will support individuals in employment skills including communication, team work, completing job application forms, interview skills practice and networking to find jobs that fit their skills. It will also give support in English language skills tests, cultural orientation in the work place, and adapting to working in the UK.

In addition, we will provide pastoral care through ongoing review and feedback, and help refugees to connect with diaspora communities for good mental health wellbeing.

To be eligible for this programme, you must have the following:

  • Right to work in the UK

  • National Insurance number

  • Bank account
